NBA Finals
The OKC Thunder shut down the Heat in the first game of the NBA Finals. Although Lebron had 30 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals (a ridiculously good game), everyone only remembers Durant and Westbrook dominating the second half!!
Another disappointing year for the Heat??? James couldn’t keep it up in last years Finals, averaging just 3 points in the fourth quarters in their six game loss to Dallas. And last night, Lebron was good, but Durant was better! Both are competing for their first ring; but Durant stepped it up when his team needed it, which is more than I can say for James. Thoughts?

I think he did good , but could be better
Game 4- I think that tonight’s game is basically for the championship for both teams and here is my reasoning: If Miami wins and goes up 3 games to 1 and they get to play a close out game at home it’s over. If the Thunder win they make it a best of 3 series with 2 games being played in OKC. While I am not saying that if the Thunder win tonight they are going to win it all, I am saying if they lose tonight it is all over. I think the Heat will be looking to step on KD’s throat tonight and on the other side I think the young guns are going to play with everything they have because they know how big this game is for them. I see a close game tonight, but I think Miami is able to pull it out in the end because LBJ will deny KD any easy buckets in the 4th quarter and Westbrook and Harden will not be enough.
As a Miami Heat fan game 1 was very hard to watch. The stat that jumped out the most to me: Kevin Durant 0-2 2 pts when being guarded by Lebron, 12-18 32 points when being guarded by other Heat players…bottom line for Coach Spo PUT LEBRON ON KD!!!! It made me sick watching the best defender in the world not on Durant, whereas on the other side of the ball we did not take advantage of Thabo guarding Lebron. Give it to him on the post and let him overpower a guy he outweighs by 50 pounds. Don’t get me started on looks-like-he-is-50 Dwayne Wade out there…If things do not change quickly for Miami, including you COACH, we are going to fall flat on our face..again…
Last year Lebron was publicly humiliated. You cant imagine how embarrassed he must have felt. Imagine He wont let it happen again.
I know lot’s of people want to hate on Lebron, but if the worst thing he has ever done was to leave a team from his home city to go to Miami in a arrogant and cocky way….then I think it’s about time we forgive and judge him on just his playing ability. Now about that, Miami has 3 equal or better players than OKC but it is clear that OKC has better team and chemistry. Team chemistry was why the Mavs won it last year. We’ll see if the Heat fall victim to the hot team in the finals again.
